Ukraine has appealed to anyone in Russia willing to help them in talks and make the Russian side see reason. The Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich is the only one who responded and taken it upon himself to try.
It's reported that Abramovich is present at the negotiations currently taking place in Belarus. It's acknowledged that his influence is limited but he will do whatever he can to try and bring about an end to the war.
