Bagpipes are awesome, beautiful when played correctly.

I didn't intend to watch the entire day, but I did, moving stuff, the crowds throwing flowers was a nice touch.
You could see what the day meant to the Royals, Charles looked emotionally drained at times.

^ Oh I always intended to cancel the day in terms of anything and everything other than Her Majesty's state funeral!! It was exemplary in terms of how the plans went into operation. Never in doubt, and the envy of the world!!

I always look at - particularly the pallbearers, who served her majesty with the highest standards right until the very end. I am always feeling a little uneasy watching them carry the coffin up and down flights of steps. I know they will succeed, but a part of me is holding my breath. The ceremony as her majesty was brought to Windsor Castle was outstanding!

The music was fitting for much respected monarch. We will still be talking about this day for a while yet and I think Christmas will have a different feel to it.

She is finally at rest

Goodbye your Majesty.
