I don't think it's just this site. ever since the chinese fucked about with google a few weeks ago the whole internet seems to have slowed (on various machines and connections that i've tried).

It was probably the slowest it has ever been for me, earlier in the night....
The only logical reason was Sammie Pennington was doing the 9-11 nightshift Wink

Yep, I've noticed a considerable jump traffic over the last week, as the number of members logging on has gone up.

So does this mean that an upgrade of the server bandwidth is on the schedule, or do we just have to put up with waiting five minutes to finalise a post, only to have it time out on you, and you have to start again?

P.S.

I've also noticed that the invisible list has suddenly jumped up as well. Now I can understand the moderators doing this, so the can do there job in peace, but the other night there was 56 invisible members online. Have you guys suddenly increased the number of moderators? or are you guys breading like rabbits in the background (although how you do it invisibly, beats me).

It was very slow last night. I do most of my forum browsing and posting before midday when there are no problems. (like now Smile)

Regarding invisible users, quite a few of them are the girls from the shows. In the past I have seen posts reporting that certain girls have been viewing a rival companies section of the forum. This has led to speculation about them leaving their current employer. I have advised some of the girls to make themselves invisible.
They are also less likely to be pestered with posts and PMs if they cannot be seen to be online.
The mods can obviously see who the invisible members are.
