YES! And I've updated my FV programme guide and BOTH FV channels are listed as being on until the weekend.....I'm really pleased BUT very confused!?.....

Yes, I noticed that. Could it be that they're only cancelling the Sky and Virgin set up for that channel to save money. Whereas FV doesn't cost as much.

I did wonder about that but assumed that the cost would have been the same for FV as for Sky and Virgin!? But if you are correct it's NOT the end yet!? Excellent news.

Cost isn't the issue here. The Babestation channels on Freeview are timeshares and the moment of truth will be when those timeshare agreements come up for renewal.

Sky and Freeview after 12 midnight have the same rules.

The Sky and Freeview channels simulcast in any case .

If memory serves, someone on here, it might have been one of the BS reps, once posted, that it was more expensive to broadcast on Freeview than Sky .

So i agree, the moment of truth will be when the timeshare agreements come up for renewal.

That doesn't mean anything till you divide the cost by the customer base.

Even then the operation might not be viable without both platforms, even if one is performing much better than the other, as most of the other studio costs will remain the same regardless.
