I meant the babes are not all the same physical shape. Quite right about the format being same same old. Lie on bed. Kneel facing camera. Lie on back and open legs. Waggle phone. Repeat of 8 hours in same costume. Repeat all week. RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - eccles - 09-11-2012 23:25 Interested to see that Portland hold a licence for TVX HD. (Broadcast bulletin 209). They don't seem to be broadcasting but anyone know if they have plans to? RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - Wazo - 02-12-2012 03:20 After 6pm on Wednesday 5th December the Sky EPG is showing The '..programmes no longer available' message for Red Light Rio channel (934) RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - Danzig - 16-12-2012 11:45 Considering that Channel 179 will be used as a 24/7 Channel. Maybe BS will apply to take over vacant 178 Channel for the extra hours. RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - TheWatcher - 16-12-2012 12:16 It might be that an internet connected "smart" TV might be required for ch179. They have said it will have 4 different shows available by selection and it will be 24/7. The Freeview bandwidth required is low for internet connections, otherwise where is the capacity coming from for 4 shows and 24/7 operation? It has been stated elsewhere that if it was an internet show, which would normally be a channel in the 200+ range, but because it is adult material, it would still be in the adult section ch170 to ch199. Ch179 when it starts might just be an advertising logo + instructions on a normal freeview box/TV. I hope it isn't. We are due to find out before Xmas. BS also own channels 176 and 177 on Freeview, I don't understand why they can't use these for extra hours, they must be paying for them and it's not cheap by all accounts. You will not require a 'Smart TV' to access service. You pick a channel from menu 1,2,3 or 4 and away you go. Should be interesting. They still have to transmit 4 shows simultaneously on one channel since they don't know which one people will be watching. There is still some debate on the digitalspy forum about whether or not an internet connection would be required to do this. Since it is due to start before Xmas, some more info should now be appearing in the 7/8 day EPG on freeview boxes and TVs, not seen any details yet. According to the info (16 December 2012) here http://www.terrestrialtv.co.uk/dtt.cgi ch179 is IPTV which does not work with a standard Freeview box/TV A screenshot of the relevant section from the above link is below |
