I'm glad the Diego Costa transfer has got sorted out. I had thought it would drag on until December or January, since Athletico Madrid can't actually register him as a player until 1 Jan. I'm just wondering how we managed to get them to pay as much as 65m Euro (£57.2m).

So it's Barcelona in the Champions League last 16 - there had been a 44% chance that would be the draw.
The tie is more than 2 months away, but it will mean Fabregas and Pedro could play against their former club.

In August it was sad that his value was £35 million but it's now been quoted that his transfer fee was about £15 million.
Which means that his value went down by £20 million. So he could be a bargin buy.

The Edin Dzeko move is off, due to him wanting too much in personal terms and the length of contract.
But the move for another of Roma's players is about to happen. Defender Emerson Palmieri is on a plane and flying to London for a medical.

Olivier Giroud signing officially announced. Cost £15.3m plus £2.2m in addons.
Announced at the same time, Michy Batshuayi has signed for Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season.
