RE: 2012 UEFA European Championship - Phoenix - 20-06-2012 13:50

Gerrard's been immense this Euros, surely his best performances in a tournament for Engerland? Terry & Hart were quality last night as well.

As for the Italy match, I'm a bit nervous about it. I think we would have been more suited to playing Spain to be honest. I worry about Parker (althought I'm a fan of his I think he's been awful so far) vs. Pirlo, and di Natale's pace up against our CBs. Hopefully Rooney will step up his game now he's got 90 mins under his belt

Will it not be Balotelli up front with Cassano against Italy?

UEFA's five-official system, which is preferred by president Michel Platini as an alternative to goalline technology, is currently on trial at Euro 2012. But as the offical failed to see the ball over the line from 10 feet then it must be deamed to have failed to test.
Oh there such corrupt bastards, I want to kick Blatter's wrinkling, old balls and see him cry like a big fat baby

FIFA have already approved goal line technology. It only has to pass the final testing stage and should be introduced on 2 July.

Just imagine how well England would have done if Joey Barton was in the the team. We would be smashing teams 4-0!!!. He says himself he's better than the current squad. Surely he's right!?!Tongue

To be accurate, he said he was better than Jordan Henderson.

But, why all of sudden according to Blatter is it a necessity?
