Sounds like he has been arrested on suspicion of Rape and GBH by Manchester Police didnt name him but a man in his 20's thats usally the case

was it def his girlfriend? i had heard pics and vid has been deleted whether thast was her decision or on the advice of the police i am pretty sure he would find it difficult to join a big club again it's shaping up a bit like situation with Ched Evans.

the deletion of the stuff online would have been at the request of GMP for fear of prejudicing any case brought
extra charges of Indecent Assault and threats to Kill also been added

The simple fact is, he has ruined what probably was a promising England career as well as a club career. I cannot see any way back into football for him when you have that sort of serious charge added. If he does go down I reckon his playing career has ended full stop he'll go down for what, at least a 5 year stretch maybe a touch longer, but after release what happens then? Will clubs go anywhere near him?

It appears that Utd are offering to exchange any shirts bought by customers which have personalised Greenwood names on them. They are offering to change them for any shirt names and numbers of the current squad.

Rape - Life
GBH - Life
Indecent Assault - 10 years (life if penetration is involved)
Threats to Kill - 10 years.
He would be unlikely to get the maximum sentence for any of those in isolation however if he's found guilty of 2 or 3 he could be looking at a very long stretch.
