Hmm a bit hypocritical of Nike Dump sharapova for doping but Justin Gaitlin still one of there golden boys who has been done twice for doping

Nike will be right back on board if/when she starts playing again, have no fear of that. As for declaring medicines, as this drug was not approved in the US I'd guess she never declared it. 17% of Russian athletes tested last year had Meldonium in their system, were they all concerned about family diabetes?

Anyway, during her ban would seem like a logical time to start a family, any takers?

It wasn't banned by WADA until 1st January 2016, so she and other athletes have been taking it legally until then

Yes I know that. The question is why was she taking a substance not even available in her country of residence and was she declaring it? If she was taking it for performance enhancing reasons, even if the drug had not yet been banned, there will be many unhappy with that, and rightly so.

By the way, you don't HAVE to declare any medications but you are requested to

I'm puzzled has to why Sharopova mentions that there is a family history of diabetes when explaining why she was taking the banned substance, what's a family history of diabetes got to do with her failing a drugs test ? .
What she's been taking has got nothing to do with diabetes treatment or prevention, has it ?
