I could live with that RE: General News Thread - Tumble_Drier - 11-12-2020 01:05 ^You'd have to pay me 40K to even consider going near the place again. There isn't enough money in the world to get me to actually live there. RE: General News Thread - lovebabes56 - 11-12-2020 09:31 ^I'd always check your phones every three months to ensure no secret tracking device has been installed RE: General News Thread - The Silent Majority - 11-12-2020 13:30 (11-12-2020 09:24 )terence Wrote: we (mod's) all live in each others houses and move around every 3 months. slabhead can't track us if we keep moving! Does Skully leave the key to his whisky cellar? RE: General News Thread - Boomerangutangangbang - 12-12-2020 10:28 I can't believe Kay Burley's arrogance, for issuing a joke of an apology for Breaking Covid 19 rules. Pretending that she thought what she did was ok is an insult to our intelligence. When your the news anchor it's part of your job to be informed of the rules, & your duty to others to know your own local restrictions. I'm sure she'll enjoy a 6 month paid holiday. Same applies for her other work colleagues, they knew exactly what they were doing & just got caught. I for one wont miss Beth Rigby while she's off screen, an unpleasant woman. RE: General News Thread - Rammyrascal - 12-12-2020 11:07 Also the spectacular hypocrisy & double standards. Giving the likes of Dominic Cummings & others a hard time over lockdown breaches on tv yet Kay Burley and others did exactly the same RE: General News Thread - Chrisst - 16-12-2020 11:57 The Supreme Court has set aside the Court Of Appeal's decision that on environmental grounds Heathrow's third runway should not be built. The building of that runway seems just so wrong to me. The destruction of a community. RE: General News Thread - Chrisst - 06-01-2021 15:53 The BBC is to broadcast programmes in support of the education of children at home. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/the-bbc-will-broadcast-school-lessons-on-tv-during-lockdown-here-e2-80-99s-when-and-what-to-expect/ar-BB1cwedG Many of us were raised on programmes for schools on but broadcasters swept them away years ago in favour of endless re-runs of Homes Under The Hammer. It could be brilliant: in depth demonstrations of simultaneous equations, how to cut a dovetail joint, the terms of the Treaty Of Vienna... I'd suggest the Click team should be at the helm. But it might not be so good: Just looks like some re-runs of more old stuff. What do I pay my licence for exactly? |
