So now that there's a vacancy for the Chelsea job... Do you think that it's time to bring back the chosen one...

It's on the cards isn't it... I mean Mourinho was recently being talked about in the papers with Real Madrid sources saying he's fed up with life there and getting all the stick, plus he's apparently rebuilt bridges with Abramovich. Kind of convenient isn't it?

I still wouldn't be surprised to see Mourinho return at the end of the season. Depends on if Real Madrid go on to win the Champions League, he might be persuaded to stay if that happens. He's always longed for a return to the English Premier League though.

I read that Chelsea were signing Benitez until the end of the season with Guardiola taking over thereafter. The report I saw suggested Guardiola was always going to be taking over in the summer but the disastrous 4 weeks that has seen Chelski plummet from 1st to 3rd has forced the hand of the patient owner.
Di Matteo can hold his head high and should be able to obtain a good managerial position straight away. I don't know that many people would have managed Chelsea successfully with the pressure of Abramovitch breathing down your neck constantly, not to mention the loss of Terry, Cole and Lampard for all or most of the last few weeks.
