There's mention that Stokes was outraged by a gang of yobs making homaphoblic comment to a couple of guys in the club.
Stokes is reportedly to have said that he acted in self defence when one of the gang approached him with a bottle.
So is he a hero or a villian?

Shouldn't be in nightclubs 2.30 in morning ffs. For me athletes (yes even cricketers) should be more professional. Thought the same about the rooney incidents.

Ben Stokes has been charged with affray in relation to an incident in Bristol in September.
So he's not going to be playing for England soon.

It's normal in this country that if a case goes to trial the defendant has to be found guilty BEFORE sentence is passed

The ECB have said that Ben Stokes is now going to be considered for the T20's in New Zealand
So he may well be playing again from Feb13th
