RE: Top Gear - Charlemagne - 11-02-2016 17:09 ^ He's really just a small guy with a very large ego I'm expecting the new series to be a motoring version of the One Show RE: Top Gear - The Silent Majority - 11-02-2016 21:59 I expect they need so many presenters because none of them will be able to commit as much time to the show as the other three did. RE: Top Gear - ShandyHand - 14-02-2016 15:27 TG could get move to Sunday nights on BBC1 if relaunch series gets 4 or 5 million viewers. (Although note that the decision has not yet been okayed by the new controller.) This series will be 8 episodes: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3446386/All-new-Gear-BBC1-Sunday-night-slot-revamped-line-proves-hit.html http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/top-gear-set-prime-time-7366719 RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 14-02-2016 16:56 Amazing they never did that for the old one even tho was the biggest show on bbc they are gong to try and use anything they can so this is a sucess RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 14-02-2016 21:00 (14-02-2016 16:56 )HannahsPet Wrote: Amazing they never did that for the old one even tho was the biggest show on bbc they are gong to try and use anything they can so this is a sucessClarkson was an embarrassment, BBC2 at best, and not "cool". He stuck with the BBC repeatedly, arguably because it was his best option. Evans is "cool", BBC1 stuff, and can balls things up as much as he can, because he can always work for Channel 4 or wherever he likes if he doesn't get his own way. RE: Top Gear - tee - 15-02-2016 14:25 There will be good and bad points of previous top gear. The show had become boring. The challenges abroad got boring as the years went on. Had to watch old episodes. Recent ones were boring. Before they use to feature normal cars on the show. Recently it was just hyper cars. But will the three personalities. That was the only reason I enjoyed watching the show. They were three genuine blokes. Will new top gear be like that? I don't think so. But Chris Evans might bring something new which show lacked RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 15-02-2016 14:49 thought the challenges on the last series were fun the ambulance's one was one of the funniest parts of the show in year RE: Top Gear - biggles - 15-02-2016 15:26 Looks like the new Top Gear will be a different type of fish - and that aint a bad thing RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 15-02-2016 15:42 Tell that to Captain Birdseye. RE: Top Gear - ShandyHand - 17-02-2016 22:46 Rory Reid's first TG shooting days are in Scotland: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/top-gear/12160049/Drone-captures-new-Top-Gear-series-filming-muscle-cars-in-Scotland.html I refuse to believe they signed up LeBlanc thinking he'd be around for years to come but anyway, surprise, surprise.. he has scheduling doubts for next year: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/6920732/Top-Gear-host-Matt-Le-Blanc-signs-up-for-second-show-at-same-time.html |
