No they can't claim this either. What can be claimed is it would be extremely unlikely they would stop trading with Britian.

Quote:Britain inside Europe is one of the worlds richest nations, doesn't mean it will be outside.

It does, how rich a country is is dependant on their own internal GNP.

The UK is contributing far more to the EU than the EU is contributing to the UK, by a long long way. UK even gets way less than the other big contributers.

The UK leaving the EU will cause a massive finantial strain on the other big EU contributers hence the desperation to keep the UK in and the scarmongering over trade.

The UK is even a world finantial centre all those aren't just goign to up sticks and move, that would cost too much, it could even be better in the long run, UK being completely independant may be quite attractive to foreign investors.

You mean apart from on here and all the debates and a lot saying they find it difficult to make their minds up due to scaremongering rhetoric (both sides) and too little ACTUAL facts.

From what i see, you have three catogories, two that probably had their minds made up from the get go; those that want in and are convinced they are right and everybody else is just plain stupid for not thinking their way and Britian would go into melt down without the EU, those that think being out will be the land of milk and honey and johnny foreigner can go do one; then there are those, I suspect the majority, that are finding it very difficult to get a balanced opnion with real facts.

I suspect the difficulty is down to nobody REALLY knows, however convinced the in's and outs might think, you cannot predict the future

Tell you what, how about you personally make a post, from you to me (without everybody else jumping in) and list why you personally think being in is best for Britian; If then can't raise any objections or challange any of those points you have made, I will vote in.

let everybody put there list first mate I doubt if many can list anything tha make it worthwhile for us to stay in . but how can you be sure Poland put in far less than us, but get more back than us that was what I wanted proof of anyway I wasn't sure if that is correct....

Can any of you provide a list of reasons that brought you to reach this decision?
1) Because it's bloody obvious.

Hope this helps Bounce

Thought not.

Many pages back on this thread I posted a link with the respective contributers/ recipients.

Off top of my head, Germany was the greatest contributer, followed by France, there my have been another, then the UK. All those above got half to over half back to what they contributed, the UK barely got 1 third. The biggest recipient, and it was by a vast, amount was poland.
