Classic night for strong content on the film channels, at least from a horror perspective.
Film 4 is showing Quills, cert 18, the story of the Marquis de Sade. Features Kate Winslet. Despite that the write up says "Stong language/sexual scenes/violence." Ring now Kate is reading aloud a passage about sliding a hand between a womans legs and the wetness their and has just said "Quim". The jailer appears to be masturbating (unseen). 01:10am-03:35am
The previous film was Saw 11:05pm-01:10am, cert 18, torture porn. (Still showing on +1).
The Horror Channel is showing One Eyed Monster, cert 18, 01:15am-02:50am. A killer penis is loose on the set of a porn movie and fucks people to death, starting with Ron Jeremy.

Thats 4 films featuring strong violence/gore/sexual content simultaneously. Needless to say adult channels are barely approaching cert 15 strength and the babes are not allowed to simulate masturbation or say "Quim". Unlike Kate Winslett.

You're a little confused there, eccles. The Video Nasties Scare was early 80s, HH2 was '88. It may have come in for some stick during the second wave and re-emergence of the video nasties nonsense in '92, but certainly not in the original.

The rules on what can be done on normal tv compared to what can be done on a shopping channel licence is stupid. if ofcom is protecting children from what is said/seen on adult channels, why aren't they protecting the very same way on normal tv!? There basically saying you don't have a right to be offended by seeing a pussy on channel 4 e.g (jimmy carr's face!) But you do have a right to be offended/protected from seeing a pussy on a 900 channel!!!!
I think ofcom should use one of these shopping channel licence's, to buy a brain!!!!

In the interests of research I was looking around YouTube and found this clip. It seems to be from Big Brother and has an E4 ident.
