4-1

RE: Snooker - Snooks - 22-01-2017 17:03

4-4 at the end of session one.
O'Sullivan going into hard matchplay mode. Not playing his best but scrapping his way back in.
Set up for the finale tonight.

Ronnie O'Sullivan has tonight won a record 7th Masters title with victory over Joe Perry. Perry led 4-1 with excellent chances to extend that lead in the opening session but spurned them allowing the 'Rocket' to be level at the end of the first 8 frames. From there Perry continued to waste opportunities and was duly punished in losing all four of the evening frames before the mid session interval. A two frame revival pegged it back to 8-6 but it would be to no avail as O'Sullivan saw out a 10-7 win.

Just in time for Trainspotting on C4 Tongue Tongue Tongue

Shame Perry blew it in the middle, but at least 10-7 sounds quasi-respectable.

Oh, and well done to Ronnie.

thought perry played well wasnt it his first major final. a few more known names have come off a lot worse at the hands of Ronnie

German Masters on Eurosport:
Mark King was 4-1 down to Ronnie, came back to win 5-4 and give another all-too-honest post-match chat with Colin, Jimmy and Neil Big Grin

Jimmy White is doing well. Seems he lost 4 stone and has started to play a lot better

RE: Snooker - Doddle - 04-02-2017 09:08

^^^White lost early on.

Anthony Hamilton beat Mark Williams on Thursday, then Mark Selby and Barry Hawkins yesterday. Faces Stuart Bingham in today's Semi-final.

Defending champion Martin Gould has Ali Carter in the other.

Gould has also secured his spot at next week's World Grand Prix, in sunny Preston:
