Today's stage16 is a 22.4km individual time trail. Starting at Passy and ending at Combloux

After a brilliant time trail Jonas Vingegaard greatly increased his lead over Tadej Pogacar.
It's hard to see him lose the yellow jersey now.

Tomorrows stage is going to be a beast eek

Absolutely insanely mega by vingegaard wasn't expecting him to smash pogacar by that much he definitely needs a miracle to get the gap back to under a minute at least

Stage 17 is supposed to be the most difficult on this years tour.

It 165.7 km mountain course with 3 category 1 climbs. Towards the end of the course is the difficult Col de la Loze over 28.1km with a 6% incline.

They say that the total climbing today is 5.300 metres. By comparision Everest is 8,800 metres.

Pogacar's broken "I'm gone, I'm dead" on the Col de la Loze. Vingegaard's increasing his lead.
Simon Yates is closing for third place.

Top climbing today by Felix Gall to win today's stage. Simon Yates finished 2nd.

However a blockage of the road stopped Vingegaard from catching the leaders

Out of the mountains for today's stage 18. It's a flat 184.9 km course from Moutiers to Bourge-en-Bresse

The winner of the stage was Kaspar Asgreen of taem Soudal/Quickstep. He held off the sprinting peloton along with his breakaway companions Pascal Eenkhorn and Jonas Abrahamsen.
Green jersey Jasper Phillipsen finished in fourth place.
