Perhaps E and RLC should get together and complain about B and how AL had see through knicks on last night. That's my 2 Bs, I mean 2 Ps worth.Wink

Thinking about it though, I quite liked the see through knicks and I like AL and a lot of the B girls.......this is all BS.... I wish O would FO!

Feel free to argue if you dissagree with anything i have posted above.

I agree with you Operoc I would like to see more, but its interesting to describe what exactly is on offer. At the moment it looks like the babes are allowed to apply oil or cream to their boobs or bum (or rest of body), by hand (otherwise it looks like ejaculate! lol) but not between their legs, not even on top of a thong.

I'd say its still hot and worth a call Smile (someone hand the oil to Danica or Dionne plz!)

I also dont think the number of complaints compared to mainstream shows is a big issue. Although it is interesting to note how few people do complain (thanks for the posts).

I would guess most of the public would readily think that its Ofcom's job to regulate the babechannels. Ofcom have a new(ish) set of guidelines to enforce, specific to the babechannels. Obviously they would start by monitoring closely the industry leaders.

But there is a certain echo here of the Jonathan Ross/Russll Brand scandal. Most people blissfully dont know to complain (thank God, sshhhh! dont tell them!) But given the chance, show your granny an old Jet Black show and see if she wants to! (second thoughts dont)

Okay, you did offer... why are you of the opinion that a specified adult channel, located in the adult section of Sky's EPG which can be locked out by anyone that doesn't want them, be restricted from showing full genitals to the camera??

I was going to reply to StanTheMan's post to show my agreement for what he has said, but in 2 lines, he has summed up the ridiculous sanctions an ADULT channel has on showing ADULT scenes - beggars belief

This is also my point - it's either adult or it isn't and if it isn't allowed to be then it shouldn't be in the adult section!!!!

I couldn't put it better myself Renfrew.
Ofcom keep talking about content and viewers expectations. So if you tune into a channel located in the adult section, should you not expect to see things of an adult nature after the official watershed because if you tune into a channel in the movie, sport or news section that is exactly what you get.
It is quite clear that the babechannels are being singled out by Ofcom and the babechannels need to do something about it. So, like i've said in a previous post the babechannels need to quit this petty rivalry aside and take on Ofcom as an industry, then maybe Ofcom will get off their back and can then start putting on the kind of shows that most of us are wanting and generating a bigger revenue.

It's interesting. On Sky, before the watershed, you need to put in your PIN before you can watch a tv show / movie / whatever, that is rated 12 and above.

Surely by just doing the same thing would resolve the issue, that way ANYTHING could be shown on an adult channel, knowing that PINs should only be known to adults!

Like I've said before - I for one don't want or expect full blown porn - I just want the models to be able to be natural on the screen, be able to move around naked without having to contort themselves into unnatural positions because they may show their pussy. I also think they should be able to exhibit their pussy to the camera. I really can't see that the world will come to an end if this were the case or that we would suddenly change into sex starved maniacs roaming the streets and a danger to the female population.

RE: Ofcom Discussion - Roquentin - 17-07-2011 22:27

All very well having that view, I would love it too. But Ofcom (and BCAP etc) are the government appointed quango who have decided otherwise. Lobby your MP? Write to the newspapers? Good luck (sincerely - but I'm not holding my breath). I cant think what the courts can do (I assume thats what 'take on Ofcom' means), they would likely just point to government to decide what the quango's remit is.

There are things to wonder about, such as the extent of this alternative license, also the imbalance of concentration on some channels and not others. Not sure how to address those, but presumably the channels will try themselves.

Think theres another thread discussing pin stuff. Maybe some hope there?
