RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - TickleTheOrc - 18-10-2014 22:39 Well. Kandi showing up on the S66 website. Finally. It only took them since the revamp of the website to get that one issue addressed. RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - DB83 - 18-10-2014 23:50 Well I was assured that the Kandi issue was fixed. Think the proof is now out there. The excuse given was a 'error of logic', before that it was a 'duplicate profile'. So one fix appears to have broken the link ie a programming error. Why it took them over 4 weeks to sort it out who knows. I did send an earlier mail(early September when there was the sound issue on the members' section) which was not replied to. Had they sought some clarification at that point............ There was a more fundamental issue earlier with the lack of Stream1 past 9pm when Fern took her break before her 30 min 'tease'. That was a similar issue to the previous evening so, as I said, was that a human error, a server issue, or even both. Who knows. And when Fern finally appeared it was on Stream2 for all of five minutes. There have been issues all day with streams cutting out or not appearing on the website - earlier it was Stream3=Anastassia who 'vanished' for a few hours and Stream2 has a mind of its own. I have asked them to keep the links alive irrespective of the model shown and let the system update that as and when it can. It is evident in my mind that s66 do not directly update the page but rely on a response to a request. The problem with that approach during the night is the content is sub-divided. RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - TickleTheOrc - 19-10-2014 01:47 Well. Kandi on stream 2 now.... and not on the website.... again..... I'm starting to wonder if it really did get the problem fixed.... RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - TickleTheOrc - 19-10-2014 03:34 Kandi is properly showing up now for the last set of the night. Well, as for a "fixed" problem's first night out. Kandi appeared 50% of the time she was actually on. So.... S66 has a lot of room for improvement still. RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - RRROGER - 19-10-2014 06:25 Difficult to believe what a totally fucked up webstream Studio66 are running>>> ^^^^Studio66 website menu..... Click on Evelyn, you get Anastasia... Click on Summer you get Evelyn Click on Anastasia you get Summer Click on Danielle, too fuckin' late, she's home in bed... ^^^ Alternative site menu... Olivia finished her show nearly 2 hours previously as did Danielle... Click on Olivia #1 you get Anastasia... Click on Olivia #2 you get Evelyn... Click on Anastasia you get Summer... Both menus still listing Golden Girls night show, showing Studio66 logo.. RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - DB83 - 19-10-2014 08:55 I am not aiming to state that s66 is blameless in all this - the wrong current girls issue appears to be a stream-switched issue which now appears fixed - but they have chosen Firestorm as their web 'partner' so there is blame there. Not wanting to bore you with the technical detail but as I said earlier they do not update the page themselves but just send requests to a server, probably hosted by Firestorm, to set the updates. That explains why Kandi appeared on some sites last week but not on all. Even the affiliated stream on this site was not showing a full set last night. The s66 webpage then sucks in what the webserver has set or not. These updates are dynamic which means, in simple terms, that no page refresh is required by the end-user. So, ultimately, there are several possible scenarios. 1. The producer at s66's end forgets to send the update request. 2. The update request is sent but not received. 3. The server fails to apply the request. 4. The webpage fails to receive the new content if it has been processed. They say that a bad workmen blames his tools. Here there is a good case that the tools are not fit for purpose anyway. RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - TickleTheOrc - 19-10-2014 21:24 I'm starting to think they when they say "fixed" a problem. They mean, broke. Sooo... no girls are appearing on the website now, even though Lucy is on SKY.... as option 1. And here I thought the old website was buggy. This new revamp site has been trumping the old sites bugs by a mile. RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - RRROGER - 19-10-2014 21:29 On SKY Mellie D is on Golden Girls, Lucy Summers multicasting on the other 3 channels, including XtremeFilth...... Studio66 webstream display & comments, no menu>>> Alternative website lists Rachel Louise Frodsham & Irena, but screen showing Studio66 logo... RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - DB83 - 19-10-2014 23:07 Again, not meant to support s66 but..... How many times in the past did we see that a stream working perfectly up to 9/9.30 suddenly go awol at 9.30/10pm and espec at the weekend ? Lucy's stream came 'live' approx. 10.25 - no link. Before then, the logo actually pointed to the non-active Stream3. Even when the link showed up, the stream was cutting out. In fact Stream1 has been dodgy much of the day - it would cut out at irregular intervals. As I write this, the stream has been 'steady' for 60+ minutes (still recording even tho Lucy is now off-screen). When Kerrie-lee finally showed up (was apparently running late) she gate-crashed Lucy's stream. Then the producer woke up from his dreams of who he could pork next. If only. Wrote the possible scenarios above. Which ever is the case, it makes s66 look bad even if it is not their fault. RE: EliteTV/Studio66 Website - Discussion - DB83 - 22-10-2014 21:47 A small 'cosmetic' change to the live-stream page which will not be apparent until you refresh/reboot. Affects the way the ad-banner for the webcams is shown. What may throw you more (it made me say WTF) is the 'greetings' ie 'Home' page. Which makes you have to click the tiny video screen to get to the real live stream. Kept that blasted chat-box which adds no value whatsoever to the site as a whole. |
