You say "sorry babe, can you hold the phone up a bit".
Always worked for me and makes it obvious to anyone watching that she's on a call.
Still does not reduce background noise, and it is apparent that they are trying to make it less obvious that a girl is on a call.

Or, looking at it the other way, any girl agreeing to high targets would be stupid not to have a min amount of screentime in the contract to safeguard her chances of meeting them. ie- they maybe can't pull her off even if they wanted to.

Only in the short term. Sales and income need to be addressed as well to ensure the long term viability of any company.

But realistically if she was not meeting her target then she would not last very long which makes me think they are meeting their targets as the same girls are on day after day and week after week (much to the chagrin of some members of this forum).

Short to medium and it depends if you want to grow your business or if you are happy simply to maintain. Increasing sales is hard and takes time whereas cutting cost provides immediate results. A business can still be profitable without a massive turnover.

Depends when the contract expires/is up for review.

"simply to maintain" = stagnate
"Increasing sales is hard and takes time" I'm sure it does and I'm sure the likes of Alan Sugar would be happy to take that as an excuse for not trying.

Look at the product they sell and the state of the economy - if someone is looking to save money then premium rate phone sex lines must be top of the list of things to cut back on. At this point Alan Sugar would be happy to maintain.
On the contract point, do you think a channel will sign a girl for big money if they can't cut her when she fails to deliver and have to keep her onscreen for night after night? When negotiating a contract the channel has all the power as there are many more girls than slots available.

Maybe he would, but he wouldn't let the Bs management know that.

The wording of the contract will depend on how desperate they were to get her in the first place. If things change suddenly in the future we'll know what's happened.

Just thought i'd mention seeing that the girls contracts have been discussed in a few post that Cellcast PLC in their annual report dated 31 December 2011 when addressing the down turn in revenue said they had implemented a cost cutting program , one thing they said they were doing was to run on a minimum level of permanent staff, it doesn't say who these minimum permanent staff members are , but i would hazard a guess and say that they are not the girls , i would be very surprised if Cellcast gives the girls long legally binding contracts these days while they are in the midst of a cost cutting program and running on a minimum level of permanent staff .

Tiffany did a session this week where she was interupted by Megan who asked where all the callers were as Tiffany had not had a single call all session. Tiffany was then left alone and still had no call. Any experienced caller can tell when they have a call as timing is everything if you are calling. Perhaps it is a new scam but yet to think what it could be. Maybe they think we will feel sorry for poor old penniless BS and so make calls
