Please don't get me wrong, I love Adele most of the time. But on occasions she just dosn't hit the spot. Last night was one of those occasions. The stockings and suspenders on Adele just don't do it for me. I prefer the minimalist look on her, the little white thong is my preferred look for the delectable Miss Taylor.

I'd agree with you about last night but not necessarily because of her attire. You always know when Adele's up for it because she's laughing and chatting with the people off set between calls and when she has that smile on her face you just melt, but last night the spark just wasn't there.

From reading other threads it seems there had been several late shift changes to Friday's rota due to illness and other people's unavailability and that probably explains why she was on the late start for the third night running.

Possibly she was a bit tired, possibly a bit p***ed off if she was called in at short notice, who knows. It wasn't a bad performance but it was not her best performance.

But hey, we're all allowed an off day. She's been absolutely flying the past few months so I can forgive her that.

I only wish she'd get an earlier start time occasionally!


ps: I hope she turns up in a Miss Santa outfit

Good question - there seems to have been a lot of late rota changes over the past week due to illness and whatever. Adele did three nights in a row at the end of last week but at least one of those seems to have been a swap, especially as she didn't do her usual wednesday late start after Zarwood last night, and Tori and Rochelle have done three and four consecutive nights this week.

Might see her tonight, perhaps? And just to prove that she DOES own a Santa outfit, here's something from the archives from Xmas 2008 (thanks to leglove who originally posted it)
