Astonishing penalty decsuon when you consider the fact hardly any french plsyers appealed. If tv were for the fact I have a long memory I would feel sorry for the Germans. The way they got Gazza booked in the semi!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah right. A Blackburn supporter referring to established premier league outfits as a poor club:biglaugh:France have a lot of talented players. Their midfield are streets ahead of ours.

They probably didn't appeal because they did not think it was a penalty

Agreed. A definite penalty.
Schweinsteiger challenged for a header with a raised arm - and after the penalty was awarded he told the referee he had headed the ball when he clearly hadn't.
Watch the replay and see how Schweinsteiger points to his head, despite the fact that the ball didn't touch his head.
