There must have been a rebellion from the Cons benches?? or they simply sat on their hands?? One would suggest principle and honour, the other, nothing more than a clear indication that they weren't prepared to put their name to the only outcome that was on the table, if the issue was standards in public life, and a message that nobody is beyond the reach of those standards. If this is the case, they surrender their status as the party of law and order.

Went from trying to fight it to letting it get thru

mind you it was the owen pattison thing all over again thinking they can ride roughshot all over the process but get the feeling the whips couldnt get it thru so they pulled it

Juzt left a reunion where some of the attendees are Johnson accolytes. I’m afraid that no logic works with them. It was like talking to a member of a cult. Very sad to see to be honest

^ This latest nonsense article is only remarkable in its irony. Given that we've been watching a cunt revealed over the last three years of pmq's now.

RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Rammyrascal - 24-04-2022 16:46

Absolutely appalling that the tories sunk this low with Angela Rayner, accusing Angela of doing a Sharon Stone to distract Boris at PMQ'S. Just when you thought they couldn't sink any lower

It's being brandished around Whithall that the Sue Gray report is damning that it could force Boris into resigning. Also it's expected that the Tories could lose up to 800 council seats in next weeks election.

However Alistair Campbell is suggesting that the people putting out this information are number 10 themselves.
So that if the report is not so critical or that the Tories lose less that that figure, Boris can claim it as a victory. bladewave

Wish he would just hurry up and step aside.
