RE: Formula 1 - Rammyrascal - 19-03-2016 09:42 The new qualifying format has been very quickly condemned by drivers, team bosses & tv pundits. Wouldn't surprise me if it changes for the next race RE: Formula 1 - circles_o_o_o - 19-03-2016 15:04 The final session was a non-spectacle, they need to ditch the knockout timer for Q3, if not altogether. It takes the full 90 seconds just to do the out-lap, and nearly another 90 to do a timed lap, so a car in the pits is already out even before it goes on the timer. And 4 minutes left of the session and it was already dead. A spectacular thumbs-down. RE: Formula 1 - Roger Patterson - 19-03-2016 21:46 Oh well, you can't rely on the BBC it seems. On their website it said in a preview that the new qualifying system was going to guarantee excitement. I understand why they want to mix the grid up, but that aim wasn't achieved anyway except for one of the Red Bull cars ending up in 18th place. RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 20-03-2016 08:27 Rosberg won the Australian GP with Hamilton in second. Alonso ran into the back of another driver and ended tumbling off the track RE: Formula 1 - darren73 - 24-03-2016 17:00 Been announced today that Sky Sports have agreed a exclusive deal to broadcast all the races from 2019 no more races will be shown on terrestrial TV They will broadcast the British grand Prix on a free to air channel RE: Formula 1 - HannahsPet - 24-03-2016 17:35 isnt pick tv theres on freeview RE: Formula 1 - Tumble_Drier - 24-03-2016 19:13 I cancelled Sports last week.
