Ronaldo tried to play through that injury, but it always looked likely that he would have to come off. It's spoilt the occasion somewhat, but Portugal are still in the game.

90 minutes up. Portugal have been sitting deep, as without Ronaldo they were lacking that bit of edge. France had some chances to win the game, but the final goes to extra time.
