Just a little word warning to anyone who buys Blu-ray discs make sure you check that they are Blu-ray discs and not dvd discs when you open up the case. I've just bought Transporter 1 & 2 brand new from Amazon only to find that the both films were DVD copies in a Blu-ray box.
Made me check all my other Blu-ray discs just to be on the safe side, most discs will have Blu-ray disc on them put if they don't just try them in a DVD player because they shouldn't work in those.

Are you sending them back Timbo to get the blu ray ones you wanted?

RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - Timbo - 10-01-2011 19:28

Yeah i requested another one and there going to send it out first class for free which they said would get to me quicker, and i have to send the others back by end of the month.

Just got this in an email Smile

Inception Blu-ray/DVD/Digital copy triple pack for £10 from Morrisons. FYI if the price tag says £16.99 it should still scan at £9.99

I bought the Back to the Future Blu ray box set today as well as I robot, Taken and Broken Arrow. I can't recommend the Back to the Future box set highly enough on Blu-ray it really is GREAT picture quality and the sound is really good well worth the £18 i paid for it. Smile

The Back To The Future Blu Ray Boxset is well class and worth the money paying for it. Just Before Christmas i bought the collectors Tin Edition of the boxset, usually i don't buy collectors edition Blu Rays or Dvds but seeing as there one of my fav films just had to do. Almost wished i had bought the next boxet up which came with the car. Also picked up the A team on Blu ray brilliant film, good picture and sound quality loads of extras. Also comes with the dvd of the film and digital copy. Theres even two former A team actors in the film too Smile.

Ok i know this is ment to be a place to recommend films and all but this is a little different.
I recommend that you never ever buy or rent the film The Other Guys with Will Ferrell, it is with out a doubt the worst movie I've seen in the last 10 years and I've seen some stinkers.

I highly recommend Salt starring Angelina Jolie, really good story and plot, loads of twists and turns through out the whole film setting up a possible second film. The blu ray picture is crystal clear along with the sound, you also get three different cuts of the film and loads of extras too Smile.
