RE: Top Gear - Rammyrascal - 11-02-2013 21:55 agree was a very good episode last night. great to see another car vs public transport race RE: Top Gear - Snooks - 11-02-2013 22:51 The car v public transport race is always fun to watch but I was very annoyed that the car lost. Bloody contraflows . RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 18-02-2013 17:31 Eric Clapton & Bruce Willis Good to see Lewis Hamilton's return also RE: Top Gear - jimmyt73 - 18-02-2013 18:45 Another great episode last night,i suppose its a sign of the times that most of the cars featured last night were not supercars. RE: Top Gear - SCIROCCO - 20-02-2013 20:34 Two things are obvious in the current series. One they are running out of ideas as they are just regurgitating old ideas. We don't need anymore boring US trips with supercars failing to win drag races. Two Richard Hammond is a serious weak link, Jeremy is the consumate pro and James is the real car enthusiasts anti hero. Hammond's obsession with US muscle cars is a waste as no bugger I know gives a chuff about crudely engineered crap like Mustangs and Camaros.....send him off to the US or back to daytime TV where his "talents" would be more useful. RE: Top Gear - bytor - 21-02-2013 06:56 Hammond doesn't bother me too much though he is the least effective of the presenters to my mind. He has a background in local radio as a DJ so I guess that is where his style comes from I don't mind stuff about cars in most forms but what has started to wear a bit thin for me are some of the daft things they do like playing rugby with cars. To me thats just pointless and boring. Having said that it is more of a light entertainment show than a serious motoring programme and the three of them do make me laugh. If nothing else Dave's continuous showing of repeats ensures that there is always something to watch at some point in the day RE: Top Gear - Rammyrascal - 21-02-2013 10:21 I've enjoyed this new series of topgear. It's stuck to what has made it last for as long as possible with the challenges, playing sport with cars and the star in a resonably price car for example RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 25-02-2013 17:37 Yeah, maybe it is getting a bit rehashed, but it's still entertaining, and I look forward to the season-ending two-part special RE: Top Gear - Gordon_Bennett - 02-03-2013 19:07 It's official. The BBC now categorise 'Top Gear' as an entertainment programme instead of a factual programme. RE: Top Gear - Tumble_Drier - 02-03-2013 23:34 (02-03-2013 19:07 )Gordon_Bennett Wrote: It's official. The BBC now categorise 'Top Gear' as an entertainment programme instead of a factual programme. It's been an entertainment show ever since the new format started. It's interesting that Pagani fitted some rather trick tyres to the Huayayaayaararara to get the fastest lap time. For a mere entertainment show it still carries a lot of weight. |
