After boncing over off the crossbar. And the sound when it smacked the bar was brilliant. What a kick! RE: NFL 2012/2013 - Rammyrascal - 09-09-2012 22:23 yeah was just about to post about this. absolutely incredible. hit the crossbar and thought that was it, but it then bounced over. my team chicago won 41-21 at home beating andrew luck and the indianapolis colts. slow start but at the end we were by far the better team. big shock of the night looks like being washington's win over the new orleans saints in new orleans. RG3 was immense RE: NFL 2012/2013 - londonpete72 - 09-09-2012 22:23 Yes, what a kick by Akers and what a noise it made when hit the bar. RE: NFL 2012/2013 - slinky - 09-09-2012 22:49 Vernon Davis fluffed his celebration, ha ha ha. Superb by the Bears tonight Rammy (first 5 snaps aside), this offence could go far this season, if they keep moving the chains like they did tonight. Also, great to see the Packers taking a beating too RE: NFL 2012/2013 - Rammyrascal - 09-09-2012 23:23 yep looks like packers are going to be losing. just gone 30-15 down with around half the 4th quarter to go RE: NFL 2012/2013 - slinky - 09-09-2012 23:26 I thought they were gonna nick it there, after the punt return, which should never have stood RE: NFL 2012/2013 - LatexRyan - 09-09-2012 23:29 Good start to the season for the Pats. First drive had me reliving memories of last year when the team seemed incapable of defending against the Pass, but after that it wasn't too bad. CJ2K aka Chris Johnson - Tennessee's Running Back - ran for only 4 yards on 11 carries. Tennessee ran for only a total of 20 yards, teams that like to run the ball are going to have a very hard time doing so against the Pats. Wes Welker had only 3 catches today but that puts him on level terms with Troy Brown as the Patriots all-time leader for pass receptions. Rob Gronkowski - known for his MEGA SPIKE TD celebration - had a bit of a whoops moment when he scored his TD and went to Spike the ball only to have it slip out of his hand. RE: NFL 2012/2013 - londonpete72 - 09-09-2012 23:53 Big win for the 49ers at Lambeau RE: NFL 2012/2013 - brummie - 10-09-2012 05:48 Won't get too carried away yet but a good win for the Redkins over the Saints and promising signs of a good connection between RGIII and Garcon RE: NFL 2012/2013 - Rammyrascal - 10-09-2012 08:52 here's the 63yrd field goal that tied the record for longest field goal |
