We used to use many different types of materials. No, we didn't use Airfix - that was a big no-no. Unfortunately, about 15 years my entire collection was destroyed when a fire swept through the shed I kept them in. ![]() I also was a member of a local G & S society who would put on two of the G & S operettas every year - one in June and the other in December. This one called Icon opened at Blackpool Beach last month.Its the UK's first double launching coaster.I rode it a few times last weekend,utterly fantastic. Radio 1, Radio 4, Radio 5 live and 5 live sports extra but most especially The World Service. Newshour is particularly informative for global news on the World Service. A series on there called 'A short history of...' is excellent and very informative. Just listened to 'A short history of Marie Curie' which was absolutely brilliant. |
