West Indies finish on 170/3. England will not be unhappy with that, since West Indies were 56/0 from the first 6 overs. It was good to see Dernbach bowl well, although that dropped catch helped put a dent in his figures.

Yes Tredwell hero to zero as Samuels finish on 69 not out and Windies 170/3 thought to be a slightly above par score on what looks to be a good pitch. UPDATE Poor start from England as both Hales and Wright (no surprise their then - if we can see it why can't the management) go cheaply. 17/2 off 3.1

It's not looking good for England, as they are now 40/4 from 7.3 overs. Buttler out for a duck following Wright's duck earlier. Morgan is 17 not out but has also escaped with a dropped catch.

It did not look good. Broad appears injured and another inept batting display. Easy win for Windies.

Broad out for the next 2 T20's as a precaution.Morgan will no doubt skipper the side.

Too many wickets went down too early.
Mountain to climb was just too steep.
Disappointing Sad.

Did England misread the pitch? The 3 West Indies spinners bowled 10 overs and claimed 6 for 46, whilst England used 4 fast-medium bowlers who bowled 12 overs for 128 without taking a wicket. England picked only one spinner and he was, by some distance, their best bowler and they also used Bopara who trundled through 4 overs taking 2 for 23.

Dernbach bowled ok at the start of the innings but generally the spinners had the better of the match for sure.

Joe Root has been ruled out of the World T20 due to his broken thumb, which x-rays have shown to be shattered into 8 pieces. He is replaced in the squad by Ian Bell, who has not played a T20 match for over 3 years.

England have no gameplan when faced with slow bowlers in ODI & T20 cricket, until they do opposing teams will continue to pick 2 or 3 spinners on any wicket.Coach Giles should know what to do as an a former slow-left armer.
