looking forward to the Seattle, Philadelphia game Sunday. I'm no expert but do wonder if a team manages to get 10pts up early on Seattle if they have the offense to come back. I know they have only given up 6pts total last 2 games, but surely that cannot keep happening.

Is it usual for teams to win super bowl without at least one go to reliable receiver?

I think Brady managed to win a couple of Super Bowls without one. Ironically when he had a record breaking season with Randy moss he failed to win.

Also I think ravens did with Detmar as their quarterback. They had a brilliant defence and a very strong running and returning game.

I think it is uncommon rather than rare.

Typical, you wait 16 games for a win and then 2 come along in 3 weeks. We have a chance to not be the worse team in the league this season. It is just a sham we aren't in the NFC South as we would still be in playoff contention.

Ha ha very true Mike what is worse is that you might not even get the number one pick.

Glad Seattle did a job on The eagles. Makes the cowboys game against them even more crucial. Totally opposite to NFC south conference. You could win the division with just 7 games this season. Whilst in the NFC east you could win 12 and only just scrap into the playoffs. Such is life.

Whilst the NFC South is baffling and infuriating fans around the globe with how unstable it is you want to try being a fan of one of the teams lol, its been painful to watch. As tonight will be and my Falcons visiting Green Bay. An indoor team from the deep south in the frozen north in Decemeber? It never ends well for us up there and is usually like a real life Saw film to watch

Very true baddabing.
It is amazing to think after your team shot themselves in the foot by losing at Wembley, that they could be in a position to win the division.
It would be funny if they won the Super Bowl. Giants did something similar and Arizona got within a whisker after only having a 9-7 record. Probably would be the first time ever a team with a losing regular season record go on to win the Super Bowl but records are made as well as broken.

In theory the game at Greenbay is what people would call a home banker but you never know.

Before the play-offs r decided, who do people think will go all the way?

As a pure rookie (yes that is my disclaimer Tongue ) I will say Denver.

Denver not a bad shout. Usually the team playing the best football during December providing they make the playoffs are usually there or there abouts.
As things are I would say from the NFC it will be between the Packers and the Seahawks. From the AFC between the patriots Broncos colts and maybe just by their proven ability to raise their game in the playoffs, the steelers.

The fact is the contenders will be a lot more apparent come the end of December. Usually by the start of the playoffs there will be one team who everyone thinks will be contending and another who up to this month have done vey little suddenly start beating more fancied opposition and be considered the dark horses.

Quick recap on Monday..........I was quite surprised. I thought we didn't do too bad against a very good team with a great QB and was actually surprised at their lack of pass defense. Julio went pretty much beast mode again (which as an Alabama fan I'm always buzzed to see) and Warrilow/Beirman had decent games. I know we lost but I didn't think we did too bad and never expected to put the score or Julio's receiving numbers up. On to Sunday and Big Ben and his Steelers, sigh, lol

And as for this years Superbowl? I think it could be anybody's so my tip is more based on heart than head. I want Denver to go and get it. I want to see them vanquish last years terrible display and to see Peyton win one with them

If Atlanta win an incredibly tough division( Tongue firmly in cheek) they could seriously be the dark horses. They will have home advantage for the wild card game, have no expectations, and in Mat Ryan and Julio Jones when on top of their game a serious Attacking threat. You never know.
