They do. There's a run-off between the final 2, which is how Clarke lost in 2001 to IDS despite being much the better candidate.
Whoever wins will be announced in September, and Cameron should logically handover immediately.
Quote:and I don't think UKIP will survive without Farage at the helm I think if anything he saw the referendum as a victory for UKIP, maybe it was in a way, but I can't see him lending hand to the negotiations when they start
Despite what the media profess, Farage would have no say anyway, just being an MEP of a totally different party.

I think she would be the sort who would not take the referendum result as it stood, and think 'Well I don't think it was a clear cut enough result so let's stay in Europe'

She would have no choice, it was a demographic vote, which has been acknowledge by the current government and the rest of the EU are pretty much saying hurry up and get the fuck out and get on with it rather than begging the UK to stay; one even saying we hope to keep close ties with Britian (but you'll still have to have freedom of movement if you want access to the free market)

Shes already said she would invoke it so whats the problem its just more smear from leavers like Gove because they know they will not win

The voting figures don't matter though do they? So long as someone makes the top two the number of votes is irrelevant.

The Conservative members make the final decision, just as the Labour members did last year, and look what happened there. A leader so useless that his MPs can only wring their hands in despair.

There are some suggestions that May supporters might tactically vote for Gove so he makes the final two as they believe May will beat him more easily than whatsherface.
Couldn't make this shit up Big Grin

True, but it's a neat illustration of how strong her position is, especially if she still loses.

Or rather, one who actually opposed the illegal bungled Iraq War, and whose selfish colleagues tried to unseat because they voted for said War and he makes them look like the small-minded sods they are.
