This morning session sealed the series for India, although England have in the end managed to bowl them out in the afternoon, with their total reaching 631, a nice lead of 231. Now England will face at least 47 overs today and really need to show some fight.

49 for 3 inside 14 overs.....not going well

After being 182/6 overnight, England were all out early on the 5th morning for 195. Not much resistance today it has to be said.

The last test of the series begins on Friday.

195 was a lot less than Indian added for their last 3 wickets bladewave

England cricket is a bit of a shambles at the moment in the test arena, woefully low on batting quality i mean are number four averages in the mid 30s and those after are not much better in terms batting like you need to in a test bairstow has done well i admit atleast.
Also if this is the best slow bowlers we have out in the game then we are in a bad state lol

After an iffy start England have rallied well. A fine 120 not out by Moheen Ali and good contributions by Joe Root and Johnny Bairstow has seen England get to a currrent 284-4.

A good day for England. I have to be honest and say I wasn't expecting it. Nice to see Dawson being given a chance by the way and the crazy idea of 6 bowlers with only 2 spinners being discarded. Even if Dawson doesn't bowl well, this is still a much better balanced team than last time.

The morning session of the second day goes to India, capturing 3 England wickets for 68 runs, and making England 352/7 at lunch.

Yes it's a better balanced team than last time, although Anderson was ruled unfit. Broad returns and Ball kept his place ahead of Woakes.

Dawson and Rashid have settled the innings and have gone on to reach 398-7

Decent scores from all 4 of England's spin bowlers.

England were all out for 477 and at the close India were 60-0
