He's had 4 dropped chances off 39 deliveries. No wonder that he's so grumpy. And Anderson is stuck on 599 wickets. Buttler dropped the latest chance off his bowling. It's day 4 with lots of rain forcast, so it's possible that Anderson may never get to 600 wickets. The Indian sub continent is not suitable to a seam bowler of his type, so he may not even get picked to play. That would then mean that he'd have to wait till next summer before he'd get another chance. And as he'd then be 39 he may just decide to retire. RE: England v Pakistan - Test Match & T20 Series 2020 - lovebabes56 - 25-08-2020 12:52 such a shame to be finishing the summer 1 short of a very exclusive club Probably has to be one of England's greatest ever fast bowlers if Broad retire with him who could England loook to in future as a fat bowling partnership? RE: England v Pakistan - Test Match & T20 Series 2020 - Charlemagne - 25-08-2020 13:04 ^ I'm not saying Anderson is going to retire. I certainly don't think that Broad will, as he's 34. Outside these two England still have fast bowling in Archer, Wood, Woakes and also Curran. RE: England v Pakistan - Test Match & T20 Series 2020 - lovebabes56 - 25-08-2020 13:11 I know you wasn't but I would think it would be a shame if he id retire & be stuck on 599 wickets that would be gutting for him and it would be a long wait for him to get it if he wasn't picked for India. I'm not sure that would be a successful combination RE: England v Pakistan - Test Match & T20 Series 2020 - Charlemagne - 25-08-2020 14:30 ^ The West Indies successfully managed to find one. Off break spinner Rahkeen Cornwall is around 315 lbs (over 22 stones).
