Well said winsaw, quite correct. The daytime rot began when S66 would book girls for the studio and then still not put them on TV and just show ads instead. Babestation's not as bad as that but with all the privates these days their TV output can still have long stretches of advertising in the daytime.

Nominated for both Day and Night: 26
Total number of girls nominated: 171
Total number for the Day award: 65 + 26 = 91 nominees
Total number for the Night award: 80 + 26 = 106 nominees

Still plenty of girls in play, despite there only being 2 channels now. Though the number of girls on Babestation's books seems to be growing all the time.

Night nominations held up though and stayed at their usual level. No decline there which is a good thing.

I think the demise of S66 is a factor in this. In the early years of these awards they dominated the day nominations. They didn't get many girls nominated for nights, but they always had the bulk of the day nominations until a couple of years ago when they largely stopped doing day shows.

I'm wondering whether the international streams from Prague and Bogota also factor into this. Maybe people are watching more of the less restrictive international streams on the web rather than the domestic shows during the daytime.
