He's not firing on all cylinders yet, and seems to be taking it easy and playing nice and slow. he made a 107 break in frame 4, and was able to take advantage of the Craptain's mistakes to take a 5-2 lead, but the Craptain rallied to close the gap to 5-4. Ronnie still ahead, let's see what tomorrow afternoon brings when the match resumes at 2.30pm. Zak Surety was always going to be an awkward customer for any seed to face having got to the semi-finals of the World Open, and knocked out Lisowski in qualifying. Ding's form has been haphazard this season, and this could have been a banana skin for him. Surety made a century to reduce his deficit to 6-3 last night, and this afternoon he made 3 more centuries in the first 4 frames to reduce his deficit to 7-6. But Ding saved his best form until last, and with breaks of 116 and 75 in the last 2 frames, he ran out a 10-7 winner. RE: World Snooker Championship 2025 - Snooks - 22-04-2025 20:19 I know there is always a 'Shot of the championship' every year but I reckon we should have a 'Fluke of the championship'. There have been some absolute belters already in the first four days at The Crucible ![]() RE: World Snooker Championship 2025 - lovebabes56 - 22-04-2025 20:29 maybe you should email Hazel and suggest it ![]() RE: World Snooker Championship 2025 - Joannis - 22-04-2025 22:48 Ask Seema Jaswal. I ![]() Judd looked the complete player taking a 5-1 lead over Zhou Yuelong, great potting form and playing the percentage shot when he needed to. Made another century putting himself on 94 for the season and needing 6 more for the £100K bonus. The next 2 frames got a bit scrappy and were shared, then Zhou finally came out of his shell to make a 95 break and reduce his arrears to 6-3. Si Jiahui got back to winning ways, but had to wait a couple of frames after going 9-4 up, as Gilbert made successive centuries to close the gap to 9-6. Si wrapped it up in the next frame to win 10-6.
