RE: NFL 2025-2026 season - Regenerated - 19-09-2025 16:25 It was a close run thing, that Bills v Dolphins game. It was really hard to call for most of the match, despite as you say Boomer, Miami generally don't do well in cold climates. I racked up a good win for that too - another super boosted bet returning £15 for the correct number of TD's and rushing yards. It was literally that last Allen and Shakir play that put me over the line for the win. ![]() Perhaps frustration or over-confidence (or maybe both) that led to the roughing penalty on the kicker. Still more positive signs for Miami though that with a little more push they can be more competitive on the road. Don't think it will be enough to ease the pressure on coach McDaniel though. RE: NFL 2025-2026 season - Charlemagne - 22-09-2025 06:53 I'm pleased to see that the 49's are still winning, even without there starting quarter back and star tight end. Even if it was by 1 point in the last second. RE: NFL 2025-2026 season - Boomerangutangangbang - 22-09-2025 15:11 ^^ & Aiyuk & Jennings number 1 & 2 Wide Receivers. Much worse is losing Bosa, waiting on MIR results, an ACL hasn't been ruled out, if that's the case it's season over. The Niners seem to have an injury curse. All teams have injuries but the 49ers are suffering again. Last night was a terrible game, with a field goal apiece in 3 quarters. The Niners finally found something with a 1 yard TD pass from Jones to Juszczyk, but gave the momentum back with an interception & the Cards capitalized on his mistake with a McBride 1 yard TD pass from Murrey. After a Cards punt the Niners were backed up close to their own goal line & a holding penalty in the End Zone resulted in a safety. By this point Mac Jones was already hobbling about & was playing in a knee brace. He found enough in the final minutes to drive them down into field goal range & Pinero sealed the win as the clock ran down. CMC struggled yet again to run the ball, he's been not much than 3 yards a carry, but filled the hole in the receiving corps & had 10 catches for 88 yards. Pearsall is the new go to wideout & had 8 catches for 117 yards. Losing so many marquee defensive players has resulted in a very young group & they will have to learn fast. Dallas were only 3/11 on 3rd downs with the Bear D stepping up in key moments. Williams was excellent at QB, 19-28-298- 4 TD's. It is still early days but we are starting to get a glimpse of the Ben Johnson effect, I imagine that the playbook will expand as the season progresses. It will keep getting mentioned, but the loss of Parsons on the Dallas defence was agian highlighted last night. RE: NFL 2025-2026 season - Boomerangutangangbang - 22-09-2025 16:59 Eagles 33 - 26 Rams Game of the week Imho, I was expecting a great battle, the Rams are the strongest team in the NFC West, & the Eagles are a little short of their best. After a Hurt 1 yard TD run the Rams mounted 6 scoring drives, but given the final outcome they'd be disappointed to not get into the End Zone on a few more occasions. The Rams dominance was highlighted by the Eagles 33 net yards gained in the 1st half. What you should expect from Championship teams is a reaction, & facing a 26-7 deficit early in the 3rd, they replied with 3 TD's to take the lead 27 - 26 with 1.48 remaining, more than enough time for Stafford to move the Rams into field goal range. The comeback by the Eagles looked to be in vain, only for the kick to be blocked for the 2nd time in the game, but this time it was returned for a TD. A crazy end to a compelling game. RE: NFL 2025-2026 season - Boomerangutangangbang - 22-09-2025 18:22 Giants 9 - 22 Chiefs If Wilson could've had half the game last night that he had in the close loss to Dallas we could've been looking at the Chiefs 0-3 not the Giants. The Chiefs led 9 - 6 at the half, restricted to 3 Field Goals. Giants RB Cam Scattebo had a 13 yard TD run, but the XP was blocked. Scatterbo had 60 yards on the ground & 61 receiving. The 2nd half brought 2 TD's for the Chiefs but nothing came easy, it required a number of Mahomes improv plays. Even the usual Mahomes/Kelce telepathy was missing. As is often the case the Chiefs defence were a major factor in nullifying the Giants who converted only one 3rd down from attempts & were 1/4 on 4th down. If the losses stack up the calls for Jaxson Dart will get louder. |
