i dont know why he played the whole game 2nite! he shud hav subbed him!

Regardless of his good season for utd if his flopping then give another player a chance, what I will say I like about hodgson atleast he let chambo, welbeck and even Henderson tonight experience these big matches.

Just hope Gerard, Parker don't pack it in, they have to think to themselves that they got another major tournament left in them, same with the Ireland players like dunne, given.

TV director did a much better job tonight. He managed to pick out quite a few Italian hotties in the crowd and even managed to find an English one. Mind you he did have 120 minutes to fill up. Lets give him 7/10.Smile

I think England as a team needs to do what the Germans did and break the players up and start from scratch with young talent coz if you look at the under 21 squad they play with ten times more pride and give them 12 months and they'll be a strong cohesive unit not like the aging primadonnas in the current squad

I wonder if it's worth using the England players involved in the Olympic team, as a starting base for the futureas well as the U-21 squad.

Pirlo would have been a revelation in the PL, though I suspect there would be very few clubs who could afford him.
