Seemed to lose there way when ruth davidson decided to quit being leader and as for labour in all this dont even know who is leading anymore

From all the hate and Ire the nats give her you would think it was the late john smiths daughter sarah smith but shes just a reporter for the BBC

The SNP have coasted in mediocrity for the last decade or so due to the incompetence of their opposition, largely down to a series of terrible leaders in opposition parties, particularly within the Labour Party but also within the Lib Dems. Ruth Davidson, for all that I vehemently disagree with the Tories was the only effective leader that any opposition party has had since The SNP first came into power but being a Tory in Scotland meant that she had her limits.

If Labour had had a leader that was as effective & popular with the left as she was with the right I definitely think they would of formed at least a minority government. Sadly from Alexander onwards Labour have had a string of no hopers.

This has got to be the worst crisis that has ever hit the Suez Canal

A blocked Canal is never a good thing.

Not by a long way. The canal was closed during the Suez crisis in 1956 and for 8 YEARS between 1967 & 1975 whilst Egypt & Israel had various wars. That crisis resulted in a major shift of trade from India to South Africa as goods transport from India became much more expensive and took 14 days longer. Oil fields in Nigeria also got more popular as they avoided oil being transported through the canal.
