For me, the economy is still pretty rough. Inflation has come down but prices stayin high and I don't think prices will come down, so in turn, wages have to rise to balance it out.
Been reading lots of economist's papers, columns etc and most of the leading ones, all say the same thing, you got to spend money. The current govt are very much "spend less, get the same level of service" ie NHS.
Labour seem to have an actual plan and will spend money so maybe help it grow...

the fact that BOE kept the interest rates on hold isnt going to help especially those about to renew there fixed rate mortgages at a much higher rate than they were last done
