we were 2-0 up at half time and then we threw the game away to lose 3-2, its now 7 defeats in a row and 9 defeats in 10 games, this is a collapse of biblical proportions the last time we lost 8 games in a row was 1899, yes 1899, but we are still only 3 points off a play-off place so im not giving up yet

116 years Surprised.
Bloomin' eck eek.
Getting momentum back after a run like that is tough.
But sometimes when needs must it can happen just in time and glory can still be had.
Football eh.
It really is a funny old game Rolleyes

I take my hat off to people like Joey for going along and supporting the less glamorous teams, apparently that's where all the real atmosphere is Smile

It's very easy to go along and support your Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool for example so it's very refreshing to see somebody on this forum following Luton. I do fear that they might have blown their promotion chances for this season but nonetheless all credit to the supporters who continue to back their team no matter what Smile

I tend to agree with you SB.
As a Wolves fan I have travelled to a lot of different away venues following Wolves down the years.
And it is safe to say the atmosphere has often felt more intense and passionate at the venues of opposition teams outside of the Premier League at the time of playing them.
Smaller grounds with the crowd right on top of the players can often generate a really intense atmosphere which I love.

Grrrrrr A 3-0 win over dirty leeds as usual we are putting on a great run when we are almost out of chance to reach the playoff mind you end of last season was a 13 game unbeaten run hoping for that means we will be FA cup winners Wink

A crazy 4-3 win today for Wolves in a game that should have been far more clinically finished off Rolleyes.
After conceding a sloppy first goal a three goal salvo to lead 3-1 in a game we were dominating should have finished it.
But no. Lapses in concentration saw us concede a farcical own goal and an equalizer that should have been prevented.
Dave Edwards spared the Wolves blushes though with an 88th minute winner. Credit to Wolves for going again at 3-3 and winning the game.
But this has to be a lesson to take one game at a time and not lose concentration with the task at hand.
Local derby at St Andrews on Saturday.
No room for sloppiness there bladewave.

Yes having just watched the game on SKY Sports I could not believe how Wolves managed to throw a safe margin away so quickly. All credit to Leeds mind you as I think as a neutral you have to applaud their never say die attitude but I thought it was a cracking header to secure the winner for Wolves.

Looking at that Championship Table it's still mathematically possible for Wolves to win the league. It's the tightest finish to an end of a season I can remember in that division.

Joey no doubt will also be a very happy man with his Luton team winning 1-0 away to Tranmere Rovers which has put them just one point off the Play Off places.

well done wolves they are now in the top 6 and there is still even an outside chance of automatic promotion but i don't think snookered is thinking about thatlaugh

anyway we have stopped the rot at last with a 1-0 win, it was the ugliest of ugly wins but a win is a win as they say
give me an entertaining 4-3 win anyday though, up next we have an easy game against burton who are the league leaders

Important win for Luton that.
Scruffy wins like that have been known to turn a season round.
I have seen it happen so many times in football.
Now is the perfect time for the Hatters to put a little run together and build some momentum for a possible play off scenario.

last night we beat Swindle in one of the best games i have seen down the gate in a long time,
for those who don't know we really hate each other and this year the game had even more spice as they cheated to win back in november and celebrated like they had won the league at the end, so it was very sweet to put the back in there place in there cup final laugh
it really looks like we maybe going to win the league for the first time in 60 years and if we can win at preston on saturday we will be 11 points clear just wow,
i have seen a lot of shit down the gate over the years so this season is going to live lone in the memory, as long as we don't fuck it up lol
