There is genuinely not a whole lot in this world to beat genuinely authentic appreciation of something so obviously rewarding for the human heart and soul.
It is brilliant for the beneficiary but soothing and heartwarming for all of us.

It provides such important perspective in life.

Good on you Rammy Smile.

Thanks Snooks. Star Trek has helped me so so much cope & live with my autism by enabling me to escape from my struggles with my autism by watching the various Trek films & shows.

So for me it's wonderful that Star Trek: Discovery has a main character who is on the autistic spectrum like me that I can relate to. It was then really touching & wonderful to have the actor that plays this character Tilly (Mary Wiseman) thank me for asking a question about Tilly being on the Autistic spectrum and be genuinely touched by autistic people relating to Tilly.

Also had Hannah Cheesman (Airiam) personally thanking me on Sunday at her signing table after the Discovery panel as well as Mary Wiseman for asking this question and telling me to be very proud of myself for standing up and asking a question in a packed panel

Got a final bunch of pictures to post but won't be posting them for a few days as I'm now feeling very upset & angry following the Star Trek Discovery news so want to wait till I'm in a much better place

^^ Nice photos - very uplifting.

After an accident at the end of last year and an upsetting medical diagnosis earlier this year, I've been unable to drive for many months now. Have finally sold my car to a scrap trader. They collected it this morning so it was really good to see it gone from the drive at last. It's a really good car trader which helps local charities aswell. Good sense of achievement all round.

Thanks Regenerated. Always gives me a boost to see my posts etc here appreciated & good to see something positive happen to you. Hope things are better soon in regards to your medical situation.

Sadly had some bad news as I was going to bed last night as one of my aunties who I was close to and lived on the next street has passed away, so I'm putting posting the final pics from DST on hold for a little while. Will still be active on the forum as that helps me take mind off things when I'm going through tough times like I am right now

Lunch today with an old friend having a good laugh and downing a few beers in an old haunt of ours in London. The Roast Beef sandwich with lashings of French Mustard was just as good as it ever was. Not sure we should have had those glasses of Port afterwards though!
