Normal service resumed for Hamilton Sad East Stirling also lost.

Tommy Craig has been sacked by St Mirren. Gary Teale put in temporary charge

RE: Scottish Football - Scottishbloke - 09-12-2014 20:18

In my honest opinion St Mirren should never have sacked Danny Lennon to begin with, afterall he won them the League Cup aswell as winning promotion to the Premiership and then securing safety in each of his seasons.

What exactly is it that the St Mirren directors were expecting, a title challenge or something, with the greatest of respect the priority for teams of this size should always be to remain safe from relegation with anything else achieved seen as a bonus.

As far as my own team is concerned Jackie Mcnamara has finally conceded that Dundee United are really in a battle now and are in danger of possibly bringing the title back to Tannadice Smile If we win our next 2 games which are both at home with Aberdeen first up followed by Celtic then who know's we might just do the impossible Rolleyes

Disappointed that Dunfermline Athletic lost to Stranraer at home but hopeful we all win the league game a week on Saturday at homd which is the more important game

Sky Sports News is reporting that Ally McCoist has tendered his resignation at Rangers.

^that's a shame. i feel for rangers and their plight at the moment. it really is a pity.

Bet David Moyes is kicking himself now. Or maybe this is the chance Joey Barton has been waiting for?!

OK, OK, I know there won't be a vacancy, really...

RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 12-12-2014 20:59

Apparently the majority of board are in London but reports are they will reject his resignation offer. To be fair The Championship was Ally's 1st real test as Rangers manager and he is being overshadowed by a rookie manager Robbie Neilson at Hearts
