RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - mr mystery - 02-09-2013 12:38 ^ Just done a re-scan after reading you're post and now get Kiss Me TV on Freeview Ch 207 and Proud Dating on FV 208 as stated . The Watcher mentioned last month in this thread that these 2 new channels had been granted a Freeview licence but they hadn't at that time purchased a freeview slot, he gave a link to a website that mentioned that Kiss Me TV would possibly be a new adult channel, i don't think it will be as the channel hasn't got a place holder slot in the Freeview babe channel adult section, it wouldn't surprise me if both are some sort of dating channel . RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - mr mystery - 02-09-2013 16:35 The new Freeview Channels "Kiss Me TV" and "Proud Dating" now have program info in the EPG, both are indeed dating channels according to the EPG, Proud Dating looks like it will be a gay dating channel, I'm a bit disappointed now, i was looking forward to a new babe channel launching . I now have them in my EPG (but not for long ) Just to clarify, for anyone not aware, these "dating" channels are just digital teletext channels, and do not have any video on them. RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - mr mystery - 03-09-2013 23:46 Ofcom's latest broadcast licence update bulletin came out yesterday, part of the bulletin deals with new licenses granted in August. Txt Me Tv Limited the company that owns xxXpanded Tv were granted a new Satellite Tv licence, the new channel will be called "xxXpanded 2", so it looks like xxXpanded could soon be broadcasting on 2 channels on Sky, there is no mention of a new freeview licence . With luck it will be another adult channel but it could equally be a foreign news service (Syria TV? Venezuela Today?), another tat shopping channel, religion or gambling. My money is on whatever pays the most, foreign news or gambling. RE: News on new channels - Freeview & Sky - mr mystery - 04-09-2013 14:58 xxXpanded 2 has now been added to the Sky tv adult section, it's broadcasting on Channel 943 .
