RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - hornball - 27-08-2023 16:49 ^ I must confess, I didn't see Dubois getting anywhere the latter stages of the fight, so a more than creditable performance! In fact, the more I see of the 'low blow' the more I believe that DD was screwed over! All the same, wouldn't hold out much hope for a rematch! For some reason, Usyk was way off his usual form! RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - hornball - 24-09-2023 22:31 Decisive from Zhilei Zhang last night! Joyce never really showed that he was likely to get any foothold in the fight. Sensible and measured response from him afterwards though, stating it was not the end of the world, and that he would come again. Good to hear. For Zhang, now a serious player - Fury, Usyk or Charr?? Usyk's performance against Dubois (assuming no rematch ordered) might convince Zhang that he can take him?? Would Fury want him?? (god knows why Fury is taking the fight against Nagannou whose boxing pedigree is zero?? obviously mega doh but still) RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - lovebabes56 - 30-09-2023 06:55 Contracts signed for Fury V Usyk no date set as of yet Saudi Arabia the likely destination RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - lovebabes56 - 30-09-2023 07:01 (24-09-2023 22:31 )hornball Wrote: Decisive from Zhilei Zhang last night! I doubt it will go beyond 3 or 4 rounds. RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - lovebabes56 - 29-10-2023 07:51 Fair play to Ngannou for taking Fury distance AND dumping Fury on his ass in third. That'll teach Fury not to underestimate anyone eho's never boxed before!! Whether there is interest for rematch remains to be seen, but certainly do think AJ was watching with interest. If there was a rematch I wonder if Fury would put his title on the line. I think Ngannou probably has gained a few new skils to take back into th UFC too. RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - lovebabes56 - 31-10-2023 20:07 After humiliating Tyson Fury (if it was a humiliation) NGannou is now in talks to humilate Wilder!! ![]() If anyone can clean up the HW divison mess it's Francis. RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - Snooks - 26-11-2023 11:32 Katie Taylor avenged her light welterweight defeat by Chantelle Cameron to win via majority decision in the rematch last night. In so doing Taylor reclaimed the undisputed World Champion tag from the Briton. RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - Snooks - 23-12-2023 20:56 Big night of heavyweight action this evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Daniel Dubois has set the ball rolling with a final round stoppage of Jarrell Miller. Still to come Deontay Wilder v Joseph Parker and Anthony Joshua v Otto Wallin RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - lovebabes56 - 23-12-2023 23:47 Wilfder needing 12th rd ko to beat Joseph Parker!! ![]() what a job by Parker if he has won by unanimous decision ![]() I'm beginning to thinjk AJ need to finds something of the old AJ to beat Wallin RE: Boxing Chat & Discussion - Snooks - 24-12-2023 00:21 Yep Parker won convincingly on points. Bit of a shock that one. |
