Acting and presenting are very different beasts aren't they? Not sure LeBlanc is looking completely at ease with the latter yet or what kind of shtick they are going for. It's all about whether they each can pull off an easy charisma on their own and an engaging chemistry when together isn't it? It doesn't have to be the same combination as the Clarkson-Hammond-May one but it has got to spark the audience.
The trailers have only included a smiggen of these things yet but, I agree, what they have shown does not look all that promising.

I think one of the secrets of the old show was that many of the little touches that made it work were so subtle that critics didn't even realise they happened.
Or maybe the new show looks crap because it's the cars' fault?

^ They were subtle enough that Clarkson, Hammond and May didn't realise they were happening until they did I think. It's not something that is easy to engineer certainly.
No doubt the beeb will deem the 'car show' old hat for a while if this fails, so that they can continue to pay Evans millions for his next variation on TFI!

Of course, why let this out now is always the question with such things isn't it? In this case it's hard to not draw the conclusion that then jurno has his new website to publicise and the woman is making the most of the coming TG launch.

It wasnt it was at a motorcycle event called bulldog bash at long marston airfield near startford upon avon
