The total of Pakistan Test players who have tested positive for coronavirus now stands at 10. Pakistan's CEO said the tour to England is very much on track [sounds like it]. Players who have tested negative will depart for England on the 28th of June as planned.

That's interesting, but dose seam a bit pointless with out the fans being in the ground, sky will not show that much cricket, also what are they going to do with the ball as the government said they can't shining it with spit or sweet it's why club cricket still banned as if someone silt on the ball everyone will.end up.touching it, if they balls are dry it will be a batsmen paradise lol

agree mate, dont want to see a cut shot CC with maybe no home and away games, i thin a t20 in september when they maybe can have some fans back in the grounds would be better

^^ More mixed messages, if a cricket ball is a vector for this virus, as Boris suggested, then why are England embarking on a 3 match Test Series on July 8th, with the county season to follow in August. Same ball, the only difference being extra precaution in place, bio-secure as they are calling it. Other than a regulated testing program, I see little difference. Cricket has the advantage of being a socially distancing sport for the most part.
This Series will be an indicator of how safe the sport is. But how can village cricket operate in the same way.
Former player & commentator Mark Nicholas has suggested trialing the use of some sort of polish, which the umpires would carry, & a designated polisher would be allowed to apply it. Once it has run out the spinners would have to come into play.

Good acquisition for Warwickshire that imo.
