reckon that set back plans for AJ V Wilder by a few months

demolition job by AL stoppin Wallin inside 5 rounds probably we have the old AJ back! It probably will be better to have AJ vs Parker for a second time next in February rather than Wilder, and I'd wager that AJ will face Wilder in late spring/earlysummer now rather than February.

Bit of a shock that one.
Is it really though?? By reputation maybe, but Wilder has been inactive for so long now bar the 50 secs it took him to win his comeback, while Parker has been the opposite, that maybe made it less of a shock?? In any event event, it was presumptuous of everyone to have basically inked in AJ/Wilder as a foregone conclusion.

Initially I thought that Wilder was going to give a much more rounded performance - settling in behind a solid jab and showing a greater boxing ability than before, but old habits etc. The more desperate he became (credit to Parker - smart tactics) out came the one right hand swinging *Bomb* with little professional technique behind. Parker was wise to it, and low and behold, it didn't work.

Great nights boxing (maybe Wallin a disappointment??) overall! When I saw the card I thought 'all heavyweight?? this could be one dimensional tediousness' It was anything but that thankfully!!

AJ Vs Ngannou???

I wonder if Eddie realises that this is a risky fight for AJ??

Fury v Usyk is off. Fury sustains a cut in sparring.

Rescheduled for May 10th with £10m default if either pulls out again.

As for AJ Vs Ngannou - If this goes tits up for AJ (which I dare hope doesn't happen) he probably can kiss his ass goodbye to any world title ambitions or any superfight with Fury. I have a sneaking feeling Ngannou could prove that putting Fury on his ass was no fluke and could dump AJ on his ass.

If AJ loses, then it isn't a world title shot that is over, it is a career!

I would wager Zhang Vs Parker could be the fight of the night

I think the way Parker dismantled Wilder was an absolute boxing masterclass but I think Zhang's demolition job in his last fight don't make it any easier for Parker either. I can see it going either full distance or a knockout by either in around round 9. I thiink what might make Parker a slight favouite will be his stamina, but I think it could take just one punch from either to end it quickly.

I would agree I think AJ knows he has to do a demolition job on him, but It is perhaps the most trickiest fight of his career. It probably won't go full distancer but Francis has shown he has a durable chin, but I don't think Fury really ever hurt him. We saw signs of the old AJ back in his last fight, le's hope it is that version that turns up.

At the same time, it is a clash of two former heavyweight champions as well. AJ former undisputed heavyweight champion in boxing and Francis as undisputed former UFC heavyweight champion and many are wondering just how much more progress Francis has made to his style since fighting Fury. If AJ wins it is could be over within 7-8 round and surely he can move on to fighting Hrgovich next before taking on the winner of Usyk V Fury.
