RE: Scottish Football - Doddle - 21-12-2014 21:49 Result of the Month, potentially Result of the Season (OK, Celtic will probably go back to running away with the title again, but for today at least, it looked like a contest again). McCoist off at Rangers, too. RE: Scottish Football - Sm© - 24-12-2014 17:38 RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 25-12-2014 01:18 Welcome to how non Old Firm teams have felt for years regarding refs decisions they don't get against Old Firm teams! LOL! (21-12-2014 16:28 )Sm© Wrote: Seeing as its Christmas I'll let DUFC have their 3 points. would have been a different result if Scrooge, sorry the referee had given Celtic at least one of the two cast iron penalty decisions, and not chopped off a perfectly good goal for offside... RE: Scottish Football - Sm© - 27-12-2014 14:19 Hibs 4 rangers 0 Looks like rangers best hope for promotion now is a last minute league reconstruction to 16 teams (providing they are still in business and finish in the top 4) RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 27-12-2014 16:21 I can confidently predict Dunfermline won't lose today, their game is off! It was ironic that the fans at Rangers AGM were seated in the away end of Ibrox as fans seated in that area are used to getting nothing from officials RE: Scottish Football - Doddle - 27-12-2014 18:37 I was kicking myself at seeing the Hamilton result, and then I saw how Dundee United got on. On a day when Celtic were held (!) at home (!!) by those sons of fun at Ross County (!!!!!!) this is a golden opportunity lost And East Stirling got walloped at home whilst Elgin got a good away win Still, Hibs 4 Rangers 0 RE: Scottish Football - mikedafc - 27-12-2014 20:52 If Aberdeen win game in hand against Inverness CT they can go within 2 points of Celtic at top of league RE: Scottish Football - Joey 27 - 27-12-2014 21:53 a bad result for dundee united today, sorry SB but if i were you i'd be pissed off at that result as celitc couldn't even beat lowly ross county at home and the chance to close the gap was lost, now dundee united will probably go on a great run but celtic will as well and hardly drop any points, and what has happened to rangers? surely even celtic fans feel a bit sorry for them and want to see them promoted back into the top flight, or would they rather be playing the likes of inverness and hamilton every week my team are in the 4th tier of english football and we get quadruple their attendances, this isn't a dig at the SPL btw RE: Scottish Football - weeahlf07 - 28-12-2014 00:47 THE BOSS http://youtu.be/lsLGHyF-InM RE: Scottish Football - Scottishbloke - 28-12-2014 07:59 I was unable to attend Dundee United's game away to St Johnstone yesterday due to the fact I am on a run of nightshifts but going by the reports of those who did attend I am led to believe that it was end to end stuff and a game that could have gone either way. With Celtic only managing a draw at home to the mighty Ross County then that has effectively stopped them from extending their lead to much more than 4 points so although I am disappointed I have not yet given up hope that we aswell as other teams can still maintain a challenge for the title. Celtic will eventually win it in the end, that I have no doubt but they won't run away with it I suspect. With regards to the Championship Hearts could have it sealed weeks in advance, it's just a matter of when and not if. Having watched the Hibs/Rangers game on the telly I've got to say I was very impressed with the Hibees. They have been constantly written off by the media but don't bet on the Edinburgh Derby not taking place next season in the top division. From what I seen from Rangers, they are a complete shambles and yes I've got to say league reconstruction might be there only hope if they are not to spend a second season in Scotlands 2nd Tier. |
