I thought Bang Babes were talking about getting more channels and even returning to freeview, according to what was posted here, so it's hard to believe they suddenly changed their minds and gave up.

that was bollocks. bangmedia shot themselves in the foot and head, ofcom bullyboy tatics which ended the good times of the channels.

Interesting accounts to 31/03/2010 for Bang Media (London) Limited have just been filed at Companies House. They take advantage of small companies' exemptions not to file a profit and loss account but their balance sheet makes interesting reading as follows:
Tangible Assets £ 179,314
Trade Debtors £ 533,646
Cash £ 217,805
Trade Creditors £1,025,468
Share Capital £ 118
P & L Reserves (£ 94,821)
What this means is, although loss making, as at the end of March 2010, they had enough cash to pay the fine, although they were clearly living off the goodwill of their creditors.
They must be planning to oppose the winding up petition otherwise why bother filing accounts at this late stage....

Possibly because if they didn't the Inland Revenue would make up their own figures, issue a determination and go after them accordingly. In the absence of anything to the contrary the Revenue's figures would then be accepted as fact.
